Maximize Your Audition
All of our classes and training sessions are being offered over Zoom. A Zoom link will be sent out shortly before the class for all participants. We do offer select in-person classes, which are denoted on the website.
Building Relationships
It’s not your job to deliver a finished, polished product on your first take. It’s your job to let us know who you are. We’ll explore how to make the choices that will let your personality come through while building trust between you and the Casting Director, Director or Agent.
Direction is Connection
Direction is not just a way of asking for an adjustment to a read. It can be an opportunity to really connect with the person doing the casting. We’ll work on how to interpret even the most confusing direction, be it written or in person.
Submitting Reads From Home
How can you be both Actor and Casting Director? It’s easier than you think. We’ll talk about what’s expected. No one books everything, but every audition can get you more opportunities.
The Follow Through
While a good read is, of course, important, that’s not all there is. The quality of your submission, turnaround time, and follow up, when necessary say a lot about you as an actor and a person. Remember, moving forward in this business is as much about how people see you as it is about your delivery. But don’t worry, we’ve got valuable pointers.
Class Notes: Participants MUST have a stable internet connection and a working camera on their device to attend class remotely.
